First time using the 5.8 in planing wind, loved it! Just crused through the lulls, and absorbed/accelrated nicely in the gusts.

Bit of backside riding in the only just 1 foot weak swell. I did try going frontside, but the waves were too small and slow. A few nice ramps, but jumping is rusty after 4 months off.
Proper cold hands at times.
